Why did the customer contact us?

Customer found mold in their attic.

What challenges did we face?

The access to the attic is a small scuttle in a bedroom closet.
There was frost on the sheathing which indicated a high moisture condition exists that needs to be fixed.

Solutions provided:

It was recommended to confirm the ridge vent is operational and air is flowing out.
Air sealing will assist to reduce the amount of moisture into the attic area.
